Abhivo Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Abhivo is published by Astfast Infotech Pvt Ltd (“Astfast”, “we”). The app is for parents and guardians of schools that use the Astfast school platform. Your school owns the school data in the app, such as attendance and notices. Astfast processes it on the school’s behalf to run the service.

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone data, financial data or health data, and the app does not request your advertising ID.

3. How we use it

To sign you in and keep you signed in.
To show your child’s attendance, notices, leave, progress reports and fee records.
To send your leave requests to the school.
To send push notifications about school events.
To keep the service secure.

We do not sell your information. We share it only with:

Your school and its administrators, as part of the service.
Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, which delivers push notifications using your device token.
Authorities, where the law requires it.

5. Advertising

Abhivo contains ads, shown only to guardians whose child’s school has not taken the premium plan. Premium schools show no ads. An ad is an image, sometimes with a link, served from the Astfast platform. We do not use a third-party ad network and the app does not read or use your Android advertising ID.

The ads are banners that Astfast designs and publishes itself for businesses that ask us to promote their products, for example publishers and stationery companies. We do not track whether an ad is shown, tapped or ignored, and we do not record any ad activity against your account or your child’s account. No data about you is shared with advertisers.

6. Security

All communication between the app and our servers uses HTTPS. Your sign-in token is kept in the phone’s secure storage. Each school’s data is kept separate, and access is limited to people the school has authorised.

7. How long we keep data

We keep data while your school uses Astfast and your account is active. When the school deactivates your account or you ask us to delete it, we remove or anonymise your personal data within 30 days of a verified request. We may keep records the school must retain by law or under its own policy. See account and data deletion.

8. Your choices

Turn notifications off in Android settings at any time.
Signing out removes your sign-in token and your device token from our server.
To correct or delete your data, contact your school admin or us.

9. Children

Abhivo is for adults: parents and guardians. It is not directed at children, and we do not collect information from children. Information about a child shown in the app comes from the school’s records and is visible only to that child’s registered guardians.
